Happy Birthday Patrick and Matthew

It's time to get the party started at Scooter's Jungle, 2013!

Two handsome birthday boys.
Matthew was all about the crown, but Patrick chose to be a little more low-key about it.

John loves the glow room!

Happy Birthday, Patrick. He had so much fun running around with all of his cousins and friends.

Matthew and Patrick played hard the whole time. The boxing and jousting rink was a big hit for all who came to the party.

Everyone gathered around for a game of hide and seek.

Papa, Grammy and cousin Christi all celebrated the big #6 and #4 with us.

Now that was a fun slide!
John with his good friend, John, were staunch competitors playing air hockey.

Uncle Brandon's not too bad at air hockey either. We actually had an air hockey set growing up.

 Two beautiful grandmas.

Liz and her girls are always in attendance at the Norman birthdays. Aunt La enjoyed sitting and catching up while Uncle ted chased Jack and Hudson around the play area.

Matthew and Landon getting ready for big group photo.

Pre Holiday Happenings!

Patrick was a reindeer for his Holiday performance.

The boys were all smiles for Santa. John calmly rattled off his Christmas list to Santa who knew all about the Wii and the game "Resort".

John was awarded the "Citizen of the Month"  for his class. He was called up in front of all the Gates Gators and recognized for being such a good friend to others.

We tried to get him to stand still and smile, but he insisted on getting back to class with teacher.

The boys helped decorate the Christmas tree from beginning to end. They were such hard workers!

We only had a few ornamental casualties.

We took the boys to the Science Center in LA for an afternoon out and about. Then we went to "LA Live for lunch at the Yard House.

Patrick experienced flying like "Dusty Crophopper".

Using wind to move a vehicle.

The boys posed for a picture in front of the SR71 Spy Plane. Super cool!

Building Gingerbread houses with our friends was fun and yummy at the same time. we had a hard time keeping the boys from easting all of the ingredients during the decorating phase of the project.

Candice sacrficed her house for the good of the project.

Matt was a patient decorator and ended up with a great looking house!

Tom took the boys out for the afternoon and went to the beach.
It's hard to believe it's December in San Clemente!

Christmas 2013

Moe was excited to have his first Norman Christmas.

Santa brought three Minion hats for three little Normans.

The boys all picked out a special surprise for Dad. It included Toffeettes from See's Candy, of course.

Legos, Legos and more Legos! Awesome :)

Thanks Uncle Todd and Amanda for the super Lego sets. Dad will be busy for hours.
John found his stocking filled with goodies. Merry Christmas!

Ahh...the joys of Christmas. Tom put toys together for four hours straight.

Great Uncle Martin joined us for a warm and relaxing afternoon.
Helicopters in the front with Papa and Dad.

Matthew was explaining how his new Ninja Turtle scooter works to Grandma.

It was a warm 85 degree day in San Clemente.
We took the pool fence down and let the kids swim off their Christmas "energy" for awhile.

Matt loved all of his presents from his grandparents, Great Uncle Martin and cousins.

Nick and John battled on the new Wii all afternoon.

Pop took his afternoon ap on the middle of all the chaos.

Patrick got a bike from Mom and Dad. The best present ever for a six year old!
